Social event on Wednesday, December 22, 2010
Join us as we celebrate the holiday season with a global perspective. We will be meeting in Waterloo Park to enjoy the Wonders Of Winter light display in the company of African Program Staff member Erin Antcliffe. Erin is back for a month from her long-term placement in Ghana, to celebrate the holidays and attend National Conference, and has been gracious enough to carve out some of her time to spend with us!
This will be a chance to discuss EWB and Erin’s work and experiences in a fun, casual atmosphere. If you’ve wanted to know more about what EWB is and what we do but have not wanted to attend a “business meeting”, this event is for you!
After our tour of the park we will be meeting at the Huether to warm up over drinks. (So if a brisk walk on a winter evening does not appeal to you, feel free to join us later for drinks indoors!) Our 2010 Professional Fellow Mark Soares is newly returned from his placement in Ghana and will be present at the event to share his perspective with us too. Grab a friend and see you at the park!
When: 6:30 PM, December 22nd
Where: Waterloo Park, Waterloo ON. Meet at the parking lot near the Lion’s Lagoon splash pad and pavilions.
